Cocinamiga
We returned to Ngongongare Primary School, and it is that, since we set foot in this school and saw the place where they use for cooking, we have not stopped thinking about the idea that these children should have a safer place to prepare food and eat.
Therefore, after the return from Karatu we got down to work. We contacted Saidi and his workers to build the kitchen, and Joseph again, this time to build the fireplace and the windows. In this way, we have employed seven people and we promoted what has been our hallmark: support for local businesses. This kitchen was built in the same way that AfrikAmiga began: with small but tremendously solid foundations. In addition, growing little by little.
Again, THANKS sound big. HUGE like you. Each of the bricks, cement, sand, or iron used bears your name. Because from the first minute you got involved like the most, you showed that “with a little of many you can do great things”. Side by side, you have established these roots.
When AfrikAmiga was born, our dream was precisely this: a space in which EVERYONE felt part of it, in which each one of the actions carried out would carry more than just your participation: to carry your essence.
We believe that it has succeeded.
So we feel happy.
“Follow your dream, they know the way”
